Many dash radios have a tube fuse in a holder on the power cable to the radio - and if your radio has this that is something else to check HOWEVER - this means removing the dash and the dashboard is VERY fragile - both in taking it out and putting it back in. If the dash cracks you are going to have bigger problems. The dash is held in with special clips (which is typical of Chevy) that require a special tool to release them. You might be best to take the RT to a stereo shop and have them remove the dash and find the fuse if you don't find one in the box under the driver's seat. The radio fuse WILL NOT be in the fuse/breaker box on the wall of the RT. That is strictly for RT appliances and wiring.
Writerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06664259206096691320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8801217063323814316.post-70518391836134135762023-04-04T11:56:35.976-04:002023-04-04T11:56:35.976-04:00My sound system both car sound and stereo system d...My sound system both car sound and stereo system doesn’t work. Could a blown fuse be located in the box under the seat? All the various modes operate except sound.

I have checked both other boxes under hood and door entrance. The fuses are in the Roadtrek fuse/circuit breaker box at the top of the wall next to the side door. The fuse for the front roof lights is the bottom fuse #12 in my 11C190P. The fuse for the rear roof lights is fuse #10 - which also includes the "porch" light. Other years and models may be different but it will be in the Roadtrek fuse/circuit breaker box. The box under the seat is not the only fuse box Chevy related - and of course, there is the Roadtrek fuse/circuit breaker panel for the RV side. Benefit is that you can access shop repair and wiring info anywhere you have internet access.
Pull the cover of the underhood fusebox once in a while and use compressed air to blow grit out of it.
While you're fiddling with the front seat check that the power feed to the macerator pump button and the feed to the seat lumbar support (if equipped) hasn't been caught and smashed under the seat floor mount rail from careless seat installation. Ours had the lumbar power feed squashed. This can easily cause a fire if the wire insulation eventually wears through and the 12v+ wire starts arcing on the grounded support. It's just sitting in flammable carpet material. NMVhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14846483043269640421noreply@blogger.com
