In addition to our travels, you will find here many how to's about the Roadtrek and RVing in general, presented in a clear and concise way that are easy to follow - why reinvent the wheel when someone has done it before! DON'T PANIC
I am a big fan of Roadtreks. I cannot afford to buy a new one just yet, but it's my desire for the future. Meanwhile, I see a couple of them for sale on craigslist and I want to purchase one soon. I am so glad I stumbled onto your blog. It's very helpful! I have a big family. We have adopted 3 children and we are possibly adopting these last 3 from foster care but are waiting for some things to happen. I want to know, in your roadtrek, in the back bed area, is it possible to remove the bed and add seats so I can put seatbelts in to seat the children? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThere is little sleeping room in a Roadtrek for two adults with children. Unless every one is going to share one smaller than normal king bed or Queen bed.If your plan is to remove the bed to install seats, why any Class B or Roadtrek? Without the bed all you have is a van with a bathroom and small kitchen with limited space for seating inside. If you are looking for an RV anyone with a family would be much better in looking at a Class C which has seating and sleeping capacity for a family. There is barely enough room inside a Class B for two.
